Iraq — From Babylon to Baghdad

Landscapes, living traditions and carefully arranged encounters.

THE JOURNEY

A closer connection to the place.

Fourteen days connect southern Iraq with the ancient cities and sacred landscapes of Mesopotamia, continuing north through Mosul into Kurdistan before returning to Baghdad. This journey follows your own Midasia Routes programme, preserving its day-by-day sequence and named visits.

River life in the marshlands, the remains of Ur and Babylon, Najaf and Karbala, and the streets of Baghdad introduce different layers of Iraq. Lalish, Alqosh and Akre add the north’s cultural variety. The original 2024 travel dates are omitted; access and hotel arrangements are reconfirmed for your chosen departure.
