Laos Tour Packages from USA – Culture, Nature & Authentic Southeast Asia

For those who are looking for a place in Southeast Asia that is just at the pace of the times — libraries of Myanmar where temple bell rings to invite people to pray for the departure of their dying day, sagas of villager monks who go barefoot at the break of the dawn and Laos tour packages from Midasia Routes cater exactly for that experience.

Laos is neither Thailand nor Bali. In the middle, rip it all down and give some embrace and rest. However, it is only for American travelers fed up with the tourist trail, otherwise it requires a Laos tour package that is as easy as going to any other place in Asia.

Why American Travelers Are Choosing Laos in 2026

Many travelers from the US enter Laos by first flying into Bangkok, Hanoi, or Singapore and then connecting to Laos – this makes it perfect as part of an extended tour of Southeast Asia, or even making it a single destination holiday for 10 to 18 days.

What makes Laos stand apart:

  • UNESCO-listed Luang Prabang — one of the best-preserved towns in all of Asia
  • The Mekong River — the spine of the country, connecting villages, temples, and riverside markets
  • Vang Vieng — dramatic limestone karst scenery with rivers and outdoor adventures
  • Vientiane — a relaxed capital with French colonial architecture and Buddhist monuments
  • 4,000 Islands (Si Phan Don) — southern Laos at its most serene

If traveling to Laos is within your budget, daily travel allowance should be between $50 to $100 per person for a general mid-option, which includes decent hotels, local food as well as sightseeing and transport. Even honeymooners, however, mustneed minimum $150 daily per person for these compromising a vehicle, stay in resorts and some selected cultural tours. Generally, for a two-week or less Laos visit from the US, per person spends on Laos Tour Packages and return flight is between $1800 and $3500 or more.

Laos Tour Packages in Florida — Start Your Journey from the Sunshine State

It's no surprise that FL is among the fastest growing markets for us. Miami, Orlando, Tampa, and Jacksonville fans no longer wish to spend time vacationing only in the Caribbean, they need to have some image of serious foreign travel, and where better than in Laos.

There is specific regional interest for the Laos Tour Package in Florida. Usually, Florida based tourists travel to Dallas Forth Worth, Los Angeles, or New York city gyres first before they head to Bangkok or Hanoi then into Laos. We deal with all of it during the prep so you will not need to upon yourself the brain of having to sojor with the Asian Continent’s connections.

The 10-Day Laos Discovery Package is another double favorite among couples departing from Florida. While all those other Miami based families tend to take the 14 Day Complete Laos Tour inclusive of the southern region including the 4000 Islands. Small group tours are another option that Fort Lauderdale and Tampa coupled travelers can envision when they travel.

Those located in Florida and seeking a distinct experience in Southeast Asia, outside the heavily commercialized tourist routes, can benefit from taking a Laos tour package. Speak to our consultants and they will create a tailor made Florida Laotian holiday itinerary that includes also the flights route for you.

Our Laos Tour Packages — What's Included

The Midasia Routes company considers what the customers actually want and does not just copy-paste in a tour itinerary. As a result, every Lao vacation has the following components in the package:

Airport Transfers & Ground Transport

Private vehicles, shared transfers, domestic flights, and river transport are arranged in advance. You are never left to figure out logistics in a foreign country.

Carefully Selected Accommodation

We match accommodation to your travel style and budget:

  • Budget-friendly — clean guesthouses and local hotels in convenient locations
  • Mid-range — boutique riverside properties and well-reviewed hotels
  • Luxury — premium resorts, private villas, and top-rated properties

English-Speaking Expert Guides

Our local guides bring Laos to life — explaining Buddhist traditions, temple history, local customs, and hidden stories that no travel app can offer.

Flexible Itineraries

Other than most of the rigorously controlled group tours, the Laos tour packages have no limits as they can be organized about with respect to any dates, intensity or even engagement. Is there a necessity of a richer program at the Kuang Si Falls? Is it your desire to enrol in a culinary course instead of attending a museum? That is what is in all these Laos Tour Packages.

Top Destinations in Every Laos Tour Package

Luang Prabang — The Cultural Heart of Laos

No Laos tour package is complete without Luang Prabang. This UNESCO World Heritage city sits on a peninsula where the Nam Khan and Mekong Rivers meet. Highlights include:

  • Almsgiving ceremony (Tak Bat) — monks collect offerings at dawn in a ritual unchanged for centuries
  • Wat Xieng Thong — one of the most important Buddhist temples in Laos
  • Kuang Si Waterfalls — turquoise tiered falls surrounded by jungle, about 30km from town
  • Pak Ou Caves — thousands of Buddha statues inside limestone caves above the Mekong
  • Night Market — handmade textiles, local crafts, and traditional food

Plan for at least 3–4 nights in Luang Prabang to experience it properly.

Vientiane — A Capital Unlike Any Other

Vientiane, the capital city is also among many capitals known for their relaxed atmosphere. Many visitors find it as a good relaxing point as they travel and do other activities. This location has also some other major attractions which are Luang (the National Landmark), Patuxai henot Monument, and Buddha Park which is stupefying statues put in a garden and is 25 kg afar from the city at the banks of Mekong River.

Vang Vieng — Adventure & Scenic Beauty

Vang Vieng is located in an ambiance of the spectacular karst limestone mountains and hence a perfect destination for loved ones who seek adventures en terre privée. Our Laos Tour Packages provide a plethora of opportunities, which entail rafting, bike riding, trekking and traditional boat touring over the Nam Song River.

The Mekong River — The Soul of Laos

Exploring the pristine banks of the Mekong River during a lazy boat ride is one of the most fascinating things you can do in South East Asia. Our Laos Tour Packages and sunset river cruise, overnight dinner cruise on the Mekong or slow boat cruise for several days between Luang Prabang and the border with Thailand, are all some of the options in our offers.

Laos Tour Packages in California — West Coast Travelers, This One's for You

The state of California is well suited for travel to Southeastern Asia. This is because for the travelers out of Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO) or even San Diego the transpacific flying time is amongst the shortest in the country and makes Laos easier to reach than it would otherwise be for the travelers in the East Coast region.

Our Laos tour packages in California are among our most popular offerings. Most travelers starting out of Los Angeles usually take non-stop flights on airlines to Bangkok or Hanoi and take a domestic flight to either Luang Prabang or Vientiane. Travel duration from LAX to Luang Prabang is about 20-24 hours subject to any delays.

Most Californians love to travel far from the country. We make an educated guess that they are educated tourists as their experience in resort vacations would already have been exhausted.

We are always on the job to make recommendations and arrangements for holiday package tours to Laos to travelers from Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Sacramento, and the Bay Area who seek not only carefree relaxation but also cultural heritage and the joy of discovering nation without makeup and gloss.

Laos Tour Packages are very popular among such travelers due to the fact that Laos frequently follows Vietnam or Thailand in their itineraries especially within two or three weeks.

We've got some good news when it comes to making calls during working hours or even during emergencies. All arrangements are made based on Pacific Standard Time so you'll not have to stay up until midnight or past it in order to get in touch with someone while you're on the road.

Laos Tour Package in New York — Plan Your Asia Adventure from the East Coast

Many travellers that we cater for are from New York, which injects a wonderful energy into international travel — New Yorkers travel differently – eager to learn, marshal all the arguments, and hungry for the extraordinary.

Our Laos tour package in New York planning service is tailored for travelers flying out of JFK, LaGuardia, or Newark. East Coast routing to Laos typically goes through hubs like Tokyo, Seoul, or Hong Kong — and we work with preferred airline partners to find the most efficient and cost-effective connections for New York-based travelers.

One of the most popular Laos Tour Packages available for our New York clientele is either the 14-Day Complete Laos Tour or tailor-made tours involving Laos and other countries such as Vietnam or Cambodia. We have organized holidays in Laos for tourists residing in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, and Westchester, as well as states that are nearer including New Jersey and Connecticut where New York airports were preferred.

After their return, the people working with us in New York, for instance, have often told us in a similar way that Laos made them look at travel in a different manner. Fewer numbers of people and interact with real culture, and the general slowing of time they have experienced in New York, in a very positive way.

Ready to start planning? Reach out to our team and mention you're based in New York — we'll build your Laos itinerary around your preferred NYC-area departure airport.

Laos Tour Packages also have more food lovers, those willing to participate in any food cooking lessons.

Village Visits & Community Interaction

Village visits are an essential component of all Laos Tour Packages that we offer to our customers. We design our itinerary with the intention of not only benefits towards the centers but also providing true rural Lao experiences to any person wishing to explore such activities with the help of our organizers.

We finish our exciting day enjoying breathtaking sunset views at the Pre Rub Temple followed by a dinner performance of classical Cambodian dance at a local restaurant.

  • DAY 15 - Siem Reap and Beyond

This morning we head to Banteay Srei, Angkors ultimate art gallery. This petite pink temple is the jewel in the crown of Angkorera sculpture. The elaborate carvings here are the finest found in Cambodia and the name translates as Fortress of the Women, thanks to the intricate detail here, considered too fine for the hands of a man. Later this morning will follow small back roads through rural landscapes and picturesque villages. Our first stop is the temple of Bakong in the Roluos group, the first of the great pyramid mountains which later kings were to copy. From Bakong, we continue into Roluos town to visit a very local market. After some exploration here, we follow the course of the Roluos river to the nearest navigable point where we board small wooden boats for the trip to Kompong Phluk. Cruising down a narrow waterway, we enter this medieval floating village, where the houses stand atop stilts as much as seven metres above the water. Everything lives on the water, pigs, dogs, crocodiles and people, all jockeying for space in this incredible floating town. After exploring the local waterways here, and a beautiful sunset on the lake, we return to Siem Reap by road.
