Punjab is most memorable when there is time to sit down. A kitchen conversation, a walk beside a field and a meal made together offer a warmer understanding of the countryside than a brief photo stop.
Spend time with a carefully selected host family, learn a favourite recipe and explore village life with your local guide. A folk music or dance session can be arranged with local performers. Stay at a comfortable farm retreat with private facilities, with the pace tailored to you.

Walk along accessible farm paths and learn about the crops being grown. Back with your hosts, help prepare a seasonal dish or practise shaping a roti, if the family welcomes participation.

Share a home-style Punjabi meal and discover the recipes and hospitality behind it. Dietary preferences are discussed beforehand so your hosts can prepare thoughtfully.
Music, stories & the countryside
Spend the afternoon in conversation or explore the neighbourhood. A locally arranged folk music or dance session can add a joyful finish; tractor outings are optional and depend on suitable arrangements.
